CC units & transfer

Okay so I will have 78 (Quarter) units after this summer quarter. I am planning to stay another year at my CC to finish up my units / raise my gpa.

All of my units have come from the same CC so far and from what I've read on the forum, there isn't a limit to the amount of units I can have for transfer to a UC aside from 105 credits will be counted towards transfer credit.

How do they decide which credits will be used for my admission (after the 105units)? Or will they use my overall GPA of all of my UC-transferable classes?

My other question is that I plan on taking 16 units in the upcoming Fall quarter, leaving me finished with my unit req. I am wondering if it would hurt my chances of admission to the UC's if I were to be part-time student status for the Winter and Spring quarters (less than 12 units).

anyone??????

Well, aside from residency requirements, generally the units that are above the 'maximum' will be counted for subject credit for the major I believe.

As for the latter part of your post, well... that would depend on how many full-time well achieved semesters you had prior to the winter and spring you say.
