CC Units

Quick question, once you transfer are you still able to take classes at a CC for units? I am going to UCLA, but I still need 1 more lower div class (as well as electives) and would like to save money by taking them in the summer at Pierce or Valley.

thanks!

Yep.

I’m doing that too, taking more classes this summer. [:

Awesome, even next summer too? Is there a limit? I have about 70 ccc units right now.

Nope. If you completed all years at CCC prior to transferring, you have no limit.

Saving money is always nice, lol.

they will only transfer over 70 units. the rest will count as subject credit

no point in taking summer courses if you already have 70 units from a cc.

Technically, the limit is 80. I didn’t take both years at my CCC so my limit is 80. I’m still taking classes. [:
