I’d say I’m an overachiever. I’m pretty passive in class, and I typically only answer questions when no one else can come up with a somewhat plausible answer.

In other words, I prove myself from tests. Tests are, what I believe, set the “smart people” from the people that “GPA grub.” You know… those people that join an AP class because of the AP, and expect to do no work. HA. Give me a break.

In most of my classes, I’m extremely quiet, but in classes I’m interested in, especially politics, I’ll talk a lot more. I usually do great on tests but I have a tendency to leave off homework until as late as possible.

Before this year, I would just depend on myself and do almost no studying, but this year it feels like all I do is study. So I’ve kind of morphed into an overachiever.

Some of my classes, I need to speak in because of participation grades. Whoever, participates the most will get the most points and thus get an A. Otherwise, it depends on the class.

I never say a word in participation, but I’m always getting yelled at for talking to my friends and being disruptive haha…but that’s okay, they can’t really say anything because I ace all my tests anyway. I can’t learn in class because there are too many of my friends and the teacher is too boring; I just read the book the day before the test and forget it all.

I guess you would say I’m an overachiever because I’m not satisfied with anything lower than an A+.

People expect me to be really quiet I think because I’m a smaller person and Asian but I talk a lot in my classes and tend to lead most discussions in AP lit. The class I talk the least in is probably calculus. Just not really a group work kind of class

I’m definitely a high achiever so I like to be the teachers pet haha

I make wise remarks in Pre-AP Pre-Calculus (I’ve always make wise remarks in my math classes, my grade is high enough that I can get away with it) …
I talk to friends in English IV, yet manage to be the teacher’s pet…
I’m relatively quiet in Computer Science, Economics, and Web Technologies…
I act like a know-it-all in Physics (I’m the only Senior in there and the class is a huge insult to my intelligence) …
I don’t say anything in Speech (ironic, no?) or Choir (well, I DO sing)…

I guess it depends on how much I like the subject and how interesting my peers are in each class.

And no, I’m not an overachiever. I’m a lazy achiever- smart, but lazy.

I speak up in all of my classes, especially when the rest of the class can’t come up with a solid answer. In some of my classes, including Latin, I have to keep myself in check because I answer everything. I guess you could call me a quintessential over-achieving know-it-all. I’ve accepted this fact.

I talk quite a bit with people and I like to joke around quite a bit in classes while we learn. I just find it more enjoyable to joke around a bit while we learn in classes. And I randomly do some dance moves in class just for fun.

I usually don’t say a word in any of my classes except for Spanish and Latin because participation counts and no one knows anything in my Latin class so if I don’t answer the question we would be sitting there for the whole period.

I’m an overachiever. I used to be extremely quiet but smart but recently I have started participating more to become more involved and maybe even become a leader. I participate constantly in classes like English, History and Spanish classes. I participate frequently in classes like Biology. I never say a word in Algebra 2.

It depends on the class for me. I’m usally pretty outspoken and do pretty
Good on tests but it depends on how much I like the teacher and other kids in my class I get straight as and am closer with some teachers than others.

Just throwing it out there, your teacher recommendations are so much better if you are an active participant in class rather than a wall flower.

“Just throwing it out there, your teacher recommendations are so much better if you are an active participant in class rather than a wall flower”…not exactly, i tal kto the teacher before and after class, but not during, i have a short attention span, he still wrote me an awesome rec
