CC without Koreans!!!

<p>I am not a racist because I myself am a KOREAN.</p>

<p>I looked for good Californian CCs to aim UCs, but most of information on Korean Web</p>

<p>is about DVC,SMC, and De Anza (Most likely a Korean School lol)</p>

<p>I know these are the most competitive CCs with highest transfer rate, but I want to study</p>

<p>in a place with few Koreans if possible.</p>

<p>Because when I was in international school (with 40% Korean population..), I tended to </p>

<p>spend most of time with Koreans that I couldn't make many friends from different origin.</p>

<p>If there is any CC with good transfer programs but few Koreans, please recommend me:D.</p>

<p>Doesn't matter other Asians like Chinese. Japanese, etc because I am not a racist ;-)</p>

<p>Mt. San Antonio College has a strong program which sends many students onto UCs. It has a reported Asian population of 26% according to the latest demographic statistics available. Many of the internationals there are also Chinese and Japanese more than Korean.
Your problem is more one of association though, I’d try just joining other clubs and not sitting next to people of the same ethnicity as you in your classes.</p>

<p>I couldn’t help but smile when I read your thread. :)</p>

<p>I’m Korean, too, but most of my friends are non-Koreans aside from a few really nice Korean friends. I don’t really get Korean culture, so I tend to look for American or non-Korean Asian friends. :P</p>

<p>yea i went to mtsac and it was mostly chinese.
the friends i ended up growing closest too were a mix of asian ethnicity
i didnt hang around many chinese people…</p>

<p>i think SMC has more koreans than mtsac D:
just come check it out and see how u like it :)</p>
