What was your life before CC.

I really can't remember. I think it involved a lot of tv though.

I though NHS was a hook for harvard ;)

I thought my ACT scores were high.

I thought I was the smartest kid in the world....

Maintaining my school site. Not much.

my life was very much the same as it is now but I just didn't have that addiction to something, until I found cc and when I realized there was something in my life that needed to be injected into my computers veins I found CC.

Beautiful speech by myself hahaha made no sense but beautiful. lol

I thought I was of at least average/normal intelligence...

And I finished my homework.

I had no life at all, for there was nothing after one moment in eighth grade when I had nearly won the National Geographic Bee.

I thought I might have a chance at college. Now, I feel like not going to college. My life is a downward spiral and I blame it on Algebra 2 and Chemistry. Also, now I refuse to drop an honors class in fear that it will put me behind about 1,567 students if I take the risk. Made me realise I need more extracurriculars.

Writing college essays that mustve sucked, video games, partying, tv and the occasional study night.

Gee, that is a rhetorical question there, OP. Quite frankly before CC, I pondered life, read literature, studied history.. the works. I love CC for the debates, especially. Other than that, the HS life and what are my chances forum are a bunch of poo at best. Like I actually believe JoeSmo2378 took fifteen AP courses and has a 2380 SAT score. Whatever!

Wanting to go to Georgetown, but not having a clue on how to get there?

i thought being southwest asian was a hook. as did all my white friends. HAHA.

I ditto that. I thought my scores were very high...
Boy, was I wrong.

On the whole, would you say the site increased or decreased the quality of your lives?

Wasting time on other forums and playing CS/Halo.

Not changed very much, except that I waste soo much time on this forum.

I thought that I had pretty good grades, and could get into good colleges easily...

I was the only person I knew obsessed with getting into college, until I realized there are..what's the count?..76,000 other people on here exactly the same way. And most of them have spoon-fed 34 infant orphans from birth, received straight As in 22 AP classes, been the president of 6 school clubs and the captain of 4 sports teams, gotten a 2300+ on the SATs but are working on raising that unfortunate 780 on the verbal section, and will probably be taking my spot at most selective colleges. :)
