Hi everyone!! I just got my acceptance for CCC today and I am so excited!!! I didn’t expect to get any acceptances this soon and didn’t find much information online as to when I would get an acceptance from CCC. Who else has gotten accepted?
I kind of just discovered this school recently. It is really like a hidden gem and I am working on my application now! Congrats to you 
D2 applied and is awaiting word. They told her 4 - 6 weeks from when application is complete (and if anything they would just be awaiting the rec. letters . . ).
curious to know whether merit awards are handed out with acceptance or whether they arrive later on. Anyone know anything about that?
How is financial aid at CCC? Any students out there?
I did not receive any merit awards/scholarships/financial aid yet. I think it will all come after you fill out the FAFSA. Their website has a tuition calculator and it said I would probably receive 8k in grants/scholarships but I think they’re pretty committed to finding everyone a way to receive aid.
Admitted - finally! That took awhile. This is a safety so D2 not sure she’s attending. She was already accepted to her first and second choices.

My D2 was given a $10,000 merit scholarship (she didn’t apply for one so this was a pleasant surprise). She has committed to another school so the funds will be released for another applicant.
