so i got rejected from ucsc and ucsb
so its ccc or merced.
any input?

UCM hands down!

Go to Merced. Quality education + college experience compared to bottom of the bucket teachers and no college experience.

A lot of people on these forums think that tranferring from a UC to another UC is impossible so everyone says to go to CC if you did not get into the college of your desire. I say get the college experience and get good grades, and you can go to any UC you like (including Cal/UCLA).

haha, seriously I transfering with an OK GPA.

I would sugest you weight the reasons for wanting to go to UCM and the reasons for not wanting to go.

If I could do it agian, I would not come here, b.c I could have saved $19,000 and gone to a CC. But thats just me. I guess my college experience was a bit expensive

Woah! Premed4life you just made my heart stop lol.

Seriously though why wouldn't you go to UCM again? Are you saying UCM is just an expensive Community College? oh and tell us the 10 pros and cons of UCM.

This would be most helpful.

Dlnitsud why would you consider cc when at UCM you will be taught my prof and at CC they will only have their masters? Being taught by a prof and an instructor with a masters is totally different. Wouldn't you agree?
