If I move to CA and go to a CCC will i have CCC priority or do i have to be a resident aswell?

from what i know, your chances of getting into a uc will still be slim because you're not a california resident.

No you're chances will be just as good as california kids. I'd never stepped foot in california until last year. I did 1 year at community college (did my fresh year @ another state univ) and got into UCLA. My grades weren't great, 3.0 from state univ, 4.0 from ccc ~ 3.5 overall. History. You're gonna have to pay OOS tuition @ whatever UC you end up at though, which is a *****, but w/e it's only for two years so it's a little bit better.

Not to mention that california has some high ranking schools and it should be worth it. Also, should you elect to stay here after graduation, the money spent will come back and improve our state's educational system. Sorry, I'm just proud of california.
