CCC to CSU: Complete lower division courses before transfer?

I will be completing the CSU GE Breadth requirements this Fall and I want to transfer to CSUCI as a Computer Science major.

Do I need to complete the lower-division courses ( http://compsci.csuci.edu/images/roadmaps/bscs-roadmap-4yr.pdf ) before transferring? How many units of major preparation do I need?

I will only be completing Math 105 (College Algebra) this Fall, so as you can see, I am very behind on math. I would like to know if I can take those classes at CSUCI or if I need to take them at the CCC.

Ps. I will be taking Phil. 103 (Logic) which fulfills CSU GE: A3 . The roadmap lists "Math 230 Logic G.E. A3 (3)" for First Year - Spring. Will Phil 103 count as Math 230?

Pps. Sorry for the dumb questions!

@Atto you should call CSUCI and ask them if you absolutely NEED to complete all the major preparation classes for CS. To see if your MATH 230 class fulfills the A3 requirement you should go to [Welcome to ASSIST](<a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>Welcome to ASSIST) and see if it’ll fulfill that requirement.

Yes you should try to compete as much as possible; provided the classes are transferable.
