CCC Transfer, no high school?

I have been combing the internet for an answer and finding nothing. I can't be the only person in the world in this situation.

I am an american citizen, I lived in the UK for 8 years and completed high school there. Which is structured completely different. I have now moved back to california, obtained residency and I have been attending community college.

I currently am maintaining a 3.7 GPA and next year I will have finished every general education requirement for lower division transfer. I really do not want to stay to meet the upper division requirements because I detest my community college.

Is a lower division transfer possible without a US high school diploma or ACT/SAT scores? Can I take a test or something? Or will they see my GPA and the large number of completed units and not even care?

Hi pageerror404,

I’d recommend you email the admissions personnel at your desired colleges; they will be able to best answer your unique. And of course their information will be indisputable, unlike the answers you may get on here. Especially since you completed high school in the UK (that’s really cool!)
