<p>I just received a letter from CCI telling me I've been awarded the full laptop grant. </p>
<p>I just ordered it through the CCI website, but where do I pick it up, and when will it be ready for me to do so? </p>

<p>You pick it up at CTOPS. Your group will have you go so you don't really need to worry about it much.</p>

<p>im not sure how valid this is, but my stepdad called cci after i ordered mine and said that they had ordered extra this year and all students should be able to pick up their laptop at ctops, regardless of order date. i dont know if they are sticking to that, but they did say it at one time</p>
<p>I got my laptop at CTOPS today, and they were asking people in line if they still wanted to buy one. So you should definitely be able to pick up your laptop at CTOPS if you order it now.</p>
<p>I'm still waiting for my FA. Late, I know. Ug. Still, do you guys think I should just order it now rather than waiting to see if I get the grant and probably miss my chance to get a laptop?</p>
<p>Are these laptops actually good? Compared to a Macbook or a Dell computer...</p>
<p>i can assure you that anything is better than a dell.</p>
<p>I am getting the macbook pro. You get a free touch ipod if you get it(macbook or macbook pro) before September. You also get the education discount which is about $200-300 less depending on your upgrades.</p>
