<p>Probably you old timers have had this discussion before, but I'm just wondering why there are two links to access forums for individual colleges? Why aren't all college forums listed alphabetically under one link, say "colleges"? </p>
<p>One of the main things I've learned in my short time here is that this elitist thinking of colleges as "ivy" and "not" is really a bad way to think about college selection. Why does CC perpetuate this thinking? I don't get the logic.</p>
<p>Because CC is a business, and their bread and butter is kids seeking ivy admission.</p>
<p>It's just a case of putting what is most popular up front and easy to find. Burying the Ivy schools deep and out of sight may be the politically correct thing to do, but it would annoy the customers. It's a bad and short-lived business that seeks to annoy its customers.</p>
<p>^^ Exactly. Why do something, to prove a point, that will just make operations difficult for the consumers?</p>
