CCS physics at UCSB vs UIUC

<p>Hi, I'm from Thailand.
I can't decide where to go between these two school.
Right now , I prefer UCSB to UIUC because of the weather.
Can you give me pro and con between these two?</p>

<p>Also, I heard that UCSB is the party school. As for an asian boy, i'm quite shy and don't like too much party. Is that be a problem?</p>

<p>UIUC doesn’t have anything like the CCS program at UCSB. If that’s what you want go to UCSB. I’m not really a party animal or anything, but I’ve heard no one forces you. People also say they have as many parties in schools like Harvard or Duke.</p>
