[CE2] Columbia Engineering Experience 2017

Wisconsin haha… probably not getting in, but good luck to everyone!

Yeah, good luck to everyone :slight_smile:

I’m from Minnesota so my hopes are not high but my fingers are crossed!! Good luck guys :slight_smile:

I’m confused why people are having low hopes based on their state of residence. Like what :-/

Only a few more hours nice.

@Shisuii I had that impression because Columbia would be paying for the travel expenses, and they would have to spend more money for residents from further sates

@bundawg Lol that’s not true. I’m from the East coast and was accepted to Pomona’s fly-in program which is not only very selective but also located across the entire country in California. So I doubt the colleges are looking at expenses they will incur as a deciding factor.

How’d u all do? I got waitlisted…

@gts789 Also waitlisted!

rejected :frowning: but i was an international student. what did your letters say?

waitlisted

Waitlisted as well…

I also got waitlisted (I’m from Chicago). they said a few students were waitlisted I wonder how many total…

Waitlisted. Based on this thread, I would say most were waitlisted?? Not really sure

I got in! But, I can’t go because I already accepted have flights for another fly in that happened during the same time.

Waitlisted

Rejected. URM, female STEM, 4.4 GPA, 1410 SAT. And from a neighboring state, essays were rushed, weak and truthfully thrown together. Also from a new charter school with no established history probably didn’t help. Got a nice fee waiver, but not feeling confident there’s any real hope of admissions in the RD pool.

Waitlisted

Hey, so I got waitlisted then rejected from CE2 (did get a fee waiver though). Just wanted to ask if my CE2 results is a good indicator for how I’ll be doing in the Columbia SEAS ED pool and if I should probably take my chances at a different school.
