CEEB/ACT Code? Waiver?

I need to hand my teacher evaluation form to my teacher to fill out but I need to find out my CEEB/ACT Code? What is it? Is it a code of the college I am applying to or the code of my current highschool? If its highschool, i can't find it because i searched for it on the common app but it does not show up.

Also, for the waiver about having the right to view the recs, is it better to check waive or allow me to see?? Will it affect my admission chances?

Your high school should have a CEEB code if it is a regular established US high school. even most foreign high schools have a code. there is a ceeb lookup on the collegeboard website. If there really is not a code for your school, you just enter 0000. Your GC may be able to give you the code for your school if you can’t find it yourself.

And you should waive.

so i enter my HIGHSCHOOL ceeb NOT the college’s CEEB if im not mistaken. correct?

it’s hard to say for sure. we need to know exactly what form or what spot on the website is asking for the code. Are you adding a school so you can then invite a teacher to recommend you? (college code goes there) Or are you filling out the top portion of a recommendation form? (your HS code goes there)

the part that says to the applicant…ceeb/act code
