Celebrating the New Year

I know that at my school it's always a big deal for the seniors to graduate the coming of their graduation year. A lot of kids have parties, sometimes the class has one big party. Are any seniors on here planning for New Year's eve yet? I can't wait to celebrate the ball dropping on 2007! You just have to be around your fellow senior friends when that happens.

(For anyone who thinks this thread is a little early, every book store or general store I've been to have countless 2007 calendars out already. Then again these are the same stores that start selling Christmas decorations in the summer....)

My sister graduated in 2005, so around new year's in her senior year she bought the glasses that say 2005 with the middle 0's as the circles for your eyes (here's an example of the 2000 version). They're still on her wall or something. I think I'll do that too.

As for plans, I might have a reunion/new year's party/birthday party with a few friends from Governor's School that I barely ever see (we're all seniors).

kind of crazy thinkin this is OUR YEAR!

i remembr a lot of new year's thinkin of when im celebrating 2007 there will be 6 months of school left

and now im about 4 months away from that point!

shopaholic, I know! Imagine walking into a store around December 31, even afterwards, seeing 2007 all over the place, hearing it being said everywhere, writing it in notebooks every single day. It'll be like the culmination of the four years you spend shouting "07" at school functions.

'09 is still betta! :P

haha yeah! 09! it would suck to be the class of 10, its like YEAHH 10... It sounds better when you say like .. OHh (then a number) ahhaa.. this was pointless.

ahhh wooo 2007!!!

=>

'09!!!! k4togoal is right, it's so awkward for the other people, "10!" "11!"

haha, please, this is not a thread for sophomores to represent their year. you may not be freshmen anymore, but last time we looked sophomores were still UNDERCLASSMEN. so either talk about your new year or stop polluting the thread with those two disgusting numbers.
