Cell Phone Carriers

I realize that this post may seem a bit pointless since Haverford is in such close proximity to Philly, but do all cell phone carriers work at Haverford? I have Cingular/AT&T and it worked just fine when I visited, but I just wanted to make sure. If any current students could comment, that would be great!

Really depends WHERE on campus you are. I have Sprint and it's flat out horrible in my room. I need to sit by an open window when I wanna talk to friends/family. I'm not sure how the reception is for other carriers. If you're outside, though, you get a pretty good signal.

Hows Verizon on campus?

t-mobile wooo haha. officially the worst cell phone carrier ever

Veryberrycherry, I had some problems with Verizon on campus, especially around the admissions office. I wouldn't recommend Verizon highly. But then again, your phone might just be less temperamental than mine.

Interesting ReDbUll298. My D has T-Mobile at Bryn Mawr and the decision was made based on several ringing endorsements we received from then current students, when sought to find out which cell phone providers offered a reliable signal at BMC. We've had absolutely no problems with T-Mobile. The signal has always been reliable and clear. Given the fact that Bryn Mawr and Haverford are only a mile apart, I would assume that Haverford students should have a similar experience with the company. What have your experiences been?

i have att/cingular and it's fine. some places on campus are hard to get reception from though, but i'm not sure if that's just my service or if everyone has the same problem.
