<p>My d needs a new cell phone, and we have the option of changing companies. So I'm trying to figure out which cell phone providers have good reception at most of the schools she might attend. We currently have Cingular - does anyone know how good reception is at Wesleyan? Is there a better choice?</p>

<p>I have Cingular, and I'm happy to say reception is excellent. I get full bars everywhere except in the bottom levels of some buildings, but I still get 2-3 bars at least. The only times I haven't had service were in 2 particular rooms in the basement of the science center. From what I've heard, Verizon and Sprint are also very good.</p>
<p>i have cingular and it's been totally fine everywhere except underground. i don't think anyone gets cell reception underground, though, so it shouldn't be an issue. verizon is frequently cited as the most "popular", but i don't know if that's true.</p>
