Hey what's the best cell phone service provider at Wake and the W-S area? When I did an overnight, I didn't have service inside several dorms with T-Mobile, so I need to switch (plan is expiring in August too) before I get to campus. Thanks

I’d say AT&T or Verizon. That’s generally what most people have. I’ve had At&t for the past 3 years and have never had a problem. I’ve always had full service on campus.

Thanks scarlet…I’m so excited about Wake next Fall!

congratulations! that’s awesome. i can’t believe i’m a senior now. it’s crazy how fast the years go by.

Haha, yeah. I was perusing some old posts on Wake forum and I noticed that (I think) one of my overnight hosts used to post on CC, Saket. He gave me one of those “Seize the Quad” shirts. That sounds like a fun event, hopefully there will be more next fall.

Also, do you have any recommendations on how to figure out which professors are good? Is ratemyprof reliable, or is there another site to figure out what professors are ones to look out for?

We (& therefore D) use Sprint – no problems with service at Wake.

Haha, I know Saket. We go way back. Seize the Quad was a great event. I’ve heard that it will be a spring event, not a fall event.

I use virtualratings. It’s a pretty decent site that has info on a majority of professors who have been here awhile. But just a word of advice, don’t take what you read on their too seriously. Some of my best professors have been torn apart on ratings websites. Some of the really negative ratings are written by bitter entitled students who felt they deserved A’s.

Yea, thats a great shirt.

To answer the question, as scarlett said, Verizon or Cingular (AT&T).

Also, we will be Seizing the Quad this October. It is going to be a once a semester event.

Yeah I just heard that too. I’m really excited it’ll be in the Fall. There was some worry about first semester freshman, but I guess that’s been addressed.
