Cell reception

So I will be getting a new phone (and plan) soon that I will still have next year when I go into college, so which companies have exceptionally good or bad reception on campus? Thanks!

I switched to Verizon before I arrived there as I was told it was Verizon country…Dont know if thats true or not, but Verizon has no dead spots there at all! Been very happy with my coverage:)

Verizon seems to be the only service without signifant reception gaps.

My son also uses Verizon. No complaints at all.

I use AT&T and I seem to have decant coverage. However, there are big hunks of north county that don’t have coverage, and if you get into a hole RF wise, no cell phone will work.

As far as campus proper goes: There’s an AT&T cell site on campus (up by the water tanks, in the parking lot below the big P if anyone wants to go see it some time). There’s a Verizon site just to the north and west of campus (it’s disguised as a pine tree… It should be perfectly obvious once you see it  ). So, coverage on campus is pretty good for both Verizon and AT&T.
