Most intense performance majors really don’t allow time for an academic major although a five year program is possible some places. It’s very difficult because you have all of your music subjects ( theory, music history, rep class and others,depending upon the school) lessons, chamber and orchestra rehearsals, practice and performances, and science labs usually interfere with those since they’re also scheduled in the afternoon.
