A recent posting of mine contained a word which I honestly thought was inoffensive, pretty commonly used and tame, but apparently it ran afoul of the CC automatic censoring system. It was ****ed, which had never happened to me and I found rather embarrassing. Nevertheless, I accept your standards and right to impose them. The only problem is…

So how do I avoid that in the future?

I guess you can’t post a list of forbidden words, 'cause it would be ****ed out. Can I get them in a private message??

I usually just spell it “pist”

Careful, the TOS says it’s a violation of rules to use creative spelling in order to avoid the ****ing automatic censor.

Quoth the Censor:

Please do not attempt to “spell around” the filter. If a term you are trying to use is in the filter, do not use it. Deliberately evading our filter will cause loss of posting privileges.
