<p>Does anyone send copies of certificates or awards that you earned to UW?</p>
<p>Do the certificates and awards need to be certified in order to consider them as true copies by UW?</p>
<p>I didn’t send anything to UW besides my application, test scores (straight from test center), and teacher recommendation (that she mailed). I did list some awards and such in my EC’s though… </p>

<p>You list your ECs in the application or on a separate paper which has been mailed to them?</p>
<p>I listed them in the application where it says ‘list 5 activities or achievements’. Under my sports and some school functions wehre I got awards, I listed the achievements in my description. You could also substitute an entire extra curricular space for, lets say, National Merit Semifinalist, if you got that.</p>
<p>In my application, it does not have a field for me to fill in the activities or achievements.</p>
<p>What kind of application are you using? I used the freshman online app, so if you’re a transfer, it might be different.</p>
<p>I’m using international transfer application.</p>
<p>Ohh… Hm, if there isn’t a specific section, I’m not sure what to do with it. Perhaps contact the admissions office? If you email them though, they’ll probably take about a week to reply.</p>
<p>Do you have a “more information” section like the freshmen application does? If so, you could list off your awards/certificates in this section in addition to sending copies if the admissions office says that’d help too.</p>
