Certificates for extracurriculars

Hello :) I 'm from Bosnia & Herz. (Europe) and we don't have many opportunities for doing extracurriculars like studets from USA,and also nobody can be a leader in a school club
etc etc...But I want to know do I need to send certificates of competitions I paricipated to colleges I want to apply (while applying by common aplication )and how? Also do students from USA always have a proof or a certificate that they were a part of a school club,or that they helped old people in hospitals? And if you don't have to send a certificate or a proof how do the colleges know that I participated/won a competition or a club?

No, you don’t need any proof. Just like when you write about yourself or report your classes, you’re kind of on the honour system. However, if colleges find out that you lied on your application, your application can be tossed out or your acceptance can be taken back… not good. Best of luck!

Ok,thank you :x
