Certification of Finances form for Internationals.

Is it required for all american colleges that i send this in? so far i've only gotten an email from JHU but I was wondering if it is really a requirement for all? Are there any other finance related forms that I should worry about for the following schools:

Stanford
Brown
JHU
Duke
Amherst
Pton
Harvard.

Btw I am no aid.

well if the colleges have a seperate COF form then you shoud send them....others require it after your admission for sending u the I-20...

jaijai,

its always better to go ahead and send the COF with your application...most uni's have their own COF. However, if they don't you can use the College Board COF..

crap i think iv forgotten this whole thing when i applied. no aid for me either to brown, cornell, penn, yale and NU. i just hope COFs are not required...!

I applied Ed to Penn, they dont require COF with the application
but they do require it for sending the I 20.

thanks for telling me that over chat vidushi :)

For ED and RD they dont all require COF at all places.. BUt at sum they do.. at most places though admission status wont be affected with cof of which they wud as for after admission even if u havent sumitted for the same.. BUT in case u applied for financial aid and then its found missing then there is sum room for worrying.. as at MANY PLACES including JHu finaid apps are deemed incomplete without a cof,.. but there are exceptions and infact many of em..
