if you took the CFA at another service academies SS can they send the results to USAFA or do you have to do it all over again?

I've heard that you can have them send it, however I am not sure how.

Yes you can use another academy cfa . we did with usna ss for usafa and it was all good. we talk to the admissions office of usna and then the usafa admissions office to see who to send it to

If you're referring to the practice CFA that you take at summer seminar, then no, you cannot transfer it because it cannot be used on the actual application to any of the academies. You will have to take it sometime this summer or the beginning of your senior year with a coach or PE teacher or ALO. However, once you take the real CFA, your results can be used for all of the service academies you apply to. I applied to West Point, Annapolis, and the Air Force Academy and only had to take the fitness assessment once. Good luck! :)

But, if you take the CFA at any of the other academies' summer seminars, it can be submitted if you choose, or you can take it again without penalty. It doesn't count at usafa because they think you won't do well because of the 7000 ft elevation. Personally, I prefer the thin air to the humidity of Georgia any day.

I am a recent graduate with my BS in Business Management. I am trying so hard to get into the investment industry. It is not turning out to be easy. I am probably going to go back to school for my Finance degree (only 5 classes away). For those that have taken or know someone that has taken the CFA do think it is worth while to just shot for the CFA instead of the degree.
I took some investment classes, but I would be learning most of the material for the first time. I mean is it realistic to think that I could study hard and pass the tests. It is even hard for people that have been in the industry for a long time.
And if I fail that is a lot of money to be throwing away.

Wrong forum, piston. I'll just direct you to the business major forum: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/forumdisplay.php?f=499
You will probably find someone there who can help you, or at least, a starting point. Good luck :)

Haha wrong CFA piston. This CFA is the Candidate Fitness Assessment.

And thats why Piston isnt an Air Force Officer.

Does anyone think it's a little dumb that AFROTC and AFA have two completely different physical fitness tests? I just got my forms today for AFROTC's, and all you have to do is 1.5 mile run, push ups, and crunches.

No sit ups, no pullups, no shuttle run, no basketball throw.

AFROTC's tests mimics the air force's actual test. It's the academies who decided to be different.
It's relatively easy, by the way. I never did it myself because I was too lazy to actually finish the process, but I know of a person who was less physcially fit than me who got the Army scholarship.
