Does anyone have any info on the median scores for the events on the cfa? How does 80 feet on the bball throw, 14 on the pullups, 8.5 on the shuttle run, 80 pushups, 95 situps and 6 min on the mile run matchup for a male? Thanks in advance for any input.

75 push ups=100% 95 sit ups=100% 18 pull ups=100% ya i dont remember rest

if you received those results on your cfa then you might have one of the highest scores this year. Lets just say that you easily beat my results in EVERY category and I passed with a "no risk".

does anyone know what range is a "no risk"?

somewhere like 32 push ups...and idk the rest

Hey, I was wondering if you all could give me some insight into my CFA scores.

BB Throw: 61 Ft.
Pull-Ups: 5
Shuttle Run: 9.7
Push-Ups: 50
Sit-Ups: 74
Run: 7:06

I know my pull-ups and BB throw are a little low, but do you all think I could still pass the CFA with these scores?

get the pull-ups higher and you will have no problem. Beat my scores in all but pull-ups and shuttle run.

nice scores, you'll be fine. dont worry about the basketball throw, it's not important.

i thought you needed at least 9 pull ups to pass

nope i did 6 and was fine

I got 52 on the BBall throw, 11 pullups, 8.7 on the shuttle run, 85 on the situps, 55 on the pushups, and 6:05 on the mile when I did the CFA at SLS back in JUNE

And I still got an "At RISK" on the whole thing (cuzof the BBall throw)

have you retaken it?

Not yet. Thing is, I was in much better shape in June coming out of my track season than I am now. The summer, and soccer season got me all fattened up. I'm taking a practice one thursday, and I've been practicing the Bball throw (something i shouldve been doing in May), so hopefully I'll be able to jack it up to something around 65feet. As long as everything else hasn't dropped by much, I should be fine...

8 pull-ups is average. I think 6 is min. So I dunno where yall got 9 from. If you can do an overall average then you're competitive, don't get yourself wrong.

where are you getting your numbers from?

their website and my booklet.

Hey Everyone, Thanks for the help about my CFA scores above. The scores above were ones from a practice CFA about 2 weeks ago. These are the scores for the official CFA I took this morning

BB Throw: 57 Ft.
Pull-Ups: 6
Shuttle Run: 9.6
Push-Ups: 69
Sit-Ups: 69
Run: 7:08

Yeah, I know my BB throw sucks, but do you all still think I pass with these scores...........thanks for the help.

You did great. I'd say its a bit over an average score overall, i would be happy if I were you.

Are you a bigger guy? Lots of push-ups but not as many pull-ups.

Yeah, I do have a little bit of fat I got to get rid of before Beast, but not too much.

I attribute my push-ups to JROTC and weight lifting. In JROTC we do a lot of them (all the PT we basically do is push-ups, sit-ups, and running, just like the APFT). Furthermore, I have been lifting weights for a while in a personal fitness class at school I got to take.

What is the deadline for the CFA to be turned in. My son took it during the SLS and he is still needing some improvment on the pull ups. The rest of his file is complete. The instructions say in Feb but I have also heard it must be in by the end of Oct.
