My CFA results:
pull-ups: 7
sit-ups: 90
shuttle run: 9.5
BB throw: 75 ft
push-ups: 42 (only!!!)
1-mile run: 5:30
I need your opinion. Do I have any chances to pass it? Thanks!

I am not sure about your push-ups but otherwise you are fine.

I asked this just because of push-ups. I read that if you are good enough on other areas, those areas would compensate the worst one. Do you agree?

In the last several months, I have seen the CFA scores with 41 pushups and they said that they passed. If you look at the APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test) requirements for Army personnel in the 18-20 year range, the minimum passing push-up score is 42. So I would say your 42 is probably passing but on the edge.

Looks good, I would improve the push-ups and pull ups though.

For USMA you MUST pass EVERY event as well as have an overall passing score. Minimum CFA scores are not published.

These scores appear to me to be pretty competitive based on our son's experience. I will tell you though that he took and turned in three sets of CFA scores at the request of the regional commander. The first test was administered 24 Oct. 07 by son's track coach (we did not realize coach was not certified Physical Ed. instructor, he teaches in the system's middle school, but does not teach PE), and scores were invalid for this reason. However, just for comparison, those scores were:
BB Throw - 59 ft
Pull ups - 11
Shuttle -10.3
Sit ups -61
Push ups - 63
Mile - 8:13 (rain/strong winds)

S took it second time 3 Dec. 07, this time administered by new Lt. Col of our hs JROTC program. Second set scores were as follows:
BBThow- 49 ft
Pull ups - 11
Shuttle -9.9
Push ups -75
Sit ups - 74
Mile - 7:53
Two weeks after submittal, he received another letter from his regional commander stating, "your performance in the BB throw event does not indicate that you will successfully complete physical training at the USMA. However, based upon the strength of your overall record, I am authorizing you to take the CFA again...".

S was so discouraged, but oh so very hungry for this appointment. So, Round 3 took place on 3 Jan. 08, the day he started back to school for the new semester...
BB throw - 59
Pull ups -11
Shuttle Run - 9.5
Push ups - 75
Sit ups - 77
Mile - 8:02 (below freezing)
He was pretty consistent or improved on everything each time with the exception of that BB throw (second testing he just had 3 bad throws to start off), and his mile time, though each time mile run was done in a different venue and with different conditions.

He got his appointment 6 Feb, shortly after the nominations for our area were released.

Since the Feb. 28 deadline is fast approaching, you might want to call admissions and see if they will tell you if your scores were high enough to pass or if necessary if you would be authorized a retake after the Feb deadline. (I'm not sure how they would handle that since your original set of scores are in before Feb. 28). Written communication was great from WP, but it took a long time for these letters and scores to go back and forth in the mail over the holiday period. I would normally say just wait until you hear something from them, however s had a little more time since he started the CFA process in October.
