CGS Classes

Hey y’all, even as a current student I’m not sure of this, so any help is much appreciated.

If you’re a student in the College or SEAS, what is the policy on taking CGS classes? Do you get credit for them just as you would if you had taken that same class during the normal season in the appropriate school? Any other restrictions? Are the professors of equal quality? Do Penn kids usually take CGS classes, or will one be surrounded by high schoolers and grandmothers? ;)

Thanks

Not sure about SEAS, but it's generally OK for College kids to take CGS classes. The College counts them as normal credits, but individual majors might not accept CGS classes. I've taken 5 or so CGS classes, and I think they have their merits. You do get regular Penn undergrads, but sometimes it's nice to have a mix of people show up.
