<p>Do any of you no the approximate acceptance rate at BU CGS, does this school just take anyone who applies directly there? thanks</p>
<p>Yes, people do apply directly to CGS. I'm not sure of the exact acceptance rate as it is a mixture of people who are 'deferred' to CGS from other schools and those who apply directly. The rough expectations from my own experience are 3.0GPA-3.5GPA UW depending on the high school, significant extracurriculars, and at least 600/section on the SAT's.</p>
<p>Plenty of people including myself get/got in with sub 600 per section on the SATs. As long as you do decently you'll be fine.</p>
<p>you got $$$? Then you are in at CGS. It's really just a means to charge full freight to get in to BU. They take tons of kids with sub 600 SAT scores and I think it is actually the second largest school at BU. They accept so many applicants to CGS that it is one of the major reasons that their acceptance rate is so (relatively speaking, of course) high.</p>
