<p>I'm a senior from Mumbai, India. I have taken up the most rigorous curriculum available (ISC along with preparation for the Indian Engineering examinations)</p>

ICSE board exams- 90%</p>

<p>11th grade- 60% [top 15-20%, grades slipped because I was concentrating on my Indian examinations! =( ]</p>

<p>I am going to give the SAT in October, and I'm expecting somewhere around 2150-2200. I was in a baaaaaad mood that fateful June 5th morning!</p>

<p>International students are in a very competitive pool. You need to bring up your SAT for UVa, UPenn, UCLA, and Cornell.</p>

<p>Dude, your ECs are nothing short of stellar. Wish I had a few of those. MIT doesn’t force you to take up a killing coursework like IIT does.</p>

<p>Anyways can you reply to the thread I posted in the India forum? In serious trouble with school grades and crap. I think you’d understand my situation better, being an Indian.</p>

<p>On a serious note, since you need no fin aid, that’d be great. UPenn, Cornell, Northwestern being among America’s best can be dicey and unpredictable for anyone but I’m pretty sure you have a fairly good chance at all of them since ECs are first rate.</p>

<p>I also almost flunked in Physics once in 11th (and I solve IIT JEE problems) but was saved by the practicals. Seriously man, Indian school teachers suck to be honest.</p>
