You have very similar stats to my D and she got in to FCLC. She starts next month and is majoring in communications. Her SAT was 1290 and her ACT was 30. She was in the top 5% of her class with a GPA of 3.8 (unweighted). She took 2 APs her sophomore year, 3 her junior year, and 4 her senior year. I don’t remember if she took any her freshman year. She was an officer in a club with heavy participation, had over 250 service hours, and was a member of several honor societies including NHS. She is not a minority and attended a large public high school (between 2500 and 3000 students). The only difference is that you are from NY state and she is from a southern state, in case maybe the school is looking to diversify geographically. But, based on your stats compared to my D’s stats, I’d say you have a good chance.

Not going to lie, but you’re chances are huge. Take it a little easy and try not to panic over the numbers. Your grades are steady, you have a balanced amount of ECs. Try for an Ivy!

wow thanks!
