Hi,
Do colleges give more weight to senior year schedules vs junior year ones?
Also, would my junior year schedule be considered "challenging" enough for the Ivies?
pre calculs (you can't take AP calc or stats before 12th grade in our school)
physics (same)
honors french lit
advanced arabic
US history
pre ap english (same, no AP before 12th grade)
i self-studied for APWH so it won't show on my schedule
next year i'm probably taking 4 AP's (calc, stats, eng, microecon)
i'm worried cuz i'm applying ED!!

There’s a box on the common application where your guidance counselor who’ll check that you can’t take APs until senior year, so that can’t be held against you.

Oh I didn’t know that…thanks!

But you’ll have to tell youtr GC to make SURE they mention you can’t take APs until 12th grade at your school. (GC’s have lots and lots of applications to fill out and that’s the kind of thing that can easily fall by the wayside)

There is no box for not taking AP courses until senior year… But your counselor will evaluate the rigor of your schedule in the context of your school.

No, but if you took the exam, you could report it. Taking the exam is how you validate your AP self-study.
