Challenging practice tests online?

I am looking for a few practice tests that will challenge my son more than the ACT practice tests in the red book. He has taken those too many times and knows most the answers already lol ... any suggestions? Dec will be his last time taking the test as a senior. He has already been accepted into all of the colleges he applied to, this is strictly for scholarship awards. He has a 29 and is shooting for a 30 or higher. October test he got a 34 on his reading which was crazy since it has always been his lowest score every time he has taken the test and Science, normally his highest, was his lowest in October with a 26. English and Math were on average 28 each. So he is almost there ... any suggestions? He has exhausted the red book and we have 1 month to prepare.

If you know of any links to tests that contain at least 1 challenging section each please post below! I dont want to waste a bunch of time and paper printing out tests so your input would be great! Post the link and state which section to print ... looking for the most challenging out there! Thanks so much!!

I don’t know if this is good, but Barron’s has some free material here: Loading...;

The “premium” level is only $99, which still isn’t bad.

Thank you for the information lenny2. Has anyone tried the Barrons site? I see they offer a free prep - has anyone tried that? I am willing to pay but only if someone who has tried it and has had success with it. I have wasted a lot of money on prep books lol

I think this one is free: https://www.number2.com/exams/act/companion/index.cfm?s=0</a> I couldn’t get my unmotivated kids to use these resources, so I can’t vouch for any of them. (We had to use a tutor to get them to actually put in the prep work.) And, like you tlcmommi4, I have a stack of untouched prep books for every subject imagineable. I guess hope springs eternal.

My suggestion would be to take the two official ACT tests that are available online. However, you do have to pay for these. The tests will be in line with the actual ACT, so I don’t know if this fits the description of the tests you are looking for.
