EC's: I am Secretary for the Student Council( I assume is not that great of a EC). I won gold in regional Computer Maintenance competition and went to state. Finished Cisco ITE program. Worked at our counties IT department for 6 months, then received a job at Georgia Powers on their IT staff. I am creating and maintaining their website. Also have started up a computer repair business. I have some done some community service hours at my local middle school and talked with our at risk children about why they should stay in school. Will probably have more hours due to both student council and GA power does a lot of community service

Please chance will chance back. Give honest opinions as well as good advice and any other colleges that I may fit my criteria.

Your predictions are accurate, however you are in the bottom 25th% for UGa for ACT. If you can get that up to a 27-28 with a higher math score (since you want to go into computer engineering) it will be a target school. Ga Tech is very unlikely, again, due to your ACT, but your EC’s do really go along with your major so you may get lucky.

Like Caruso said, your ecs match what you want to major in, so you already have a lot of experience. I think you’ll get into all of the schools, and ga tech is possible.
Chance back?

is your gpa weighted or uw? if its uw i think you can definitely get into uga but youll have to like what the others said increase your act score. i think you have a good chance…good luck! and chance me back too!

Last Bump Thanks for all of the chances and also could people still give me an answer if it smarter to apply ea to uga or just rd. Should I chance it?

Usually early action gives you a better chance of getting in. If I were you I would chance it.
Also could you try to answer the question on my thread?

if you get your scores higher for the acts i think you could get into georgia tech…had a friend that got in. yeah i definitely think you can get into uga as long as your act score is maybe around 28-30. good luck!
