will applying late affect my chance?

thank you

Since Acturarial Science is in CSOM…you don’t have a very good chance with that ACT. Your GPA and curriculum load seem fine, but the avg. ACT score there is like 29ish…so you can see what the problem is. If I were you, I’d apply to an easier college (like CFANS or Education) and then do well your freshman year so you can transfer to CSOM for your actual major. I remember hearing somewhere that you need your Lib. Eds done before you can transfer, but once that is done it’s supposedly pretty easy. Although once again, I’m not gonna say I know this 100% This is more of a back-up plan in case you really really want to go to the U of M.

Also, yes applying late is bad. They won’t give you “priority consideration” and with that ACT you really do need it.
