Chance A Below Average Senior

<p>While I’m not too familiar with Mizzou, I think you have a shot. I certainly wouldn’t bank on it, though. Look into some other schools in the area, maybe U of Missouri at Kansas City or St. Louis… and check out the transfer process form those schools in case you don’t get in. If you worked to help your family and it affected your grades, make sure to mention it if you can. Most applications I’ve seen have had an area to explain whether or not you’ve had to help add income… or maybe you could address it in the essay, if there is one. </p>

<p>Don’t lose too much sleep over it. Going to a good college is not the most important thing in life, and you can definitely be successful in what you want to do, even if you don’t get into your dream school. Are you instate?
