Other: My Freshman year gpa was a 2.3, it rose to a 4.1 by the end of junior year. This could either make or break me and I am addressing it in my personal statement.

well UCs look at 10-11th grade gpa…so u should be ok esp if ur adressing it
ur ECs look great and good UC gpa and test scores…
u have a really good chance. pretty sure ull get in! (: goodluck!

Thanks, but I’m not sure if my GPA calculated is right. I think it is actually a 3.67… do you think thats okay? and my SAT scores are way before average, do you know people getting in with those types of scores?

Your SAT scores are actually average or above average compared to ppl i know at UCI. but is that your best SAT score in one sitting? since i think that’s how the UCs calculate it

yeahh both SAT and gpa wise…that’s around what i had and i got in! haha
and like moey posted ur SAT scores are much higher than many ppl who get into UCI

Yupp thats what I got after my third try. Could never break the 2000 barrier =((

But thanks for giving me hope guys, I really do hope I get in… Do you know if they admit by major? Like if I don’t get in for my major they will reject me? I’m wondering for Irvine and Davis

Should be good to go. Who knows with all these fee hikes. If it makes you feel any better, you definitely would have been in if it was my year, class of '09.
