<p>Hey everybody,</p>

<p>Many of you might have seen a similar post by me before but some of my stats have changed so if I could get some new opinions of my chances at Duke ED that would be awesome! If I missed anything just let me know. Also don't forget to post a link to you thread so I can chance you back! Good luck everyone with the college process-it's so stressful.</p>

W GPA: School does not calculate

ec load: Math Team Head, Congresssional Debater/Speech Captain (2x national qualifier, 3x state qualifier), Tour Guide, Head of Business Club, Big Buddy, Frisbee Club, internship/shadow at dentist for 20 hours, 6 weeks research at Tufts summer before senior year, 6 weeks research at UMass Medical under Duke alumnus summer before senior year, volunteer at hospital 200+ hrs, participated in walk for cancer
athletics load: Varsity Swim in junior year
level of hardship: low
essay quality and if you're getting help: pretty good: the common app really oozes me and my duke supplements are pretty good
high school dfficulty/quality: very difficult school with high quality (Taken most rigorous course load over all of HS, most AP's/post AP's over 4 years)
leadership: head of math team, head of congressional debate, found my own tutoring service at community center, head of Business club </p>

<p>N.B only kid to take Classes at LAC for junior year, and senior year through a selective gifted program for high schoolers. Taking Multivariable Calc and linear algebra through CTY, finished math curriculum in sophomore year and Latin curriculum in junior year so take a Post-AP Latin class this year. Also am designing an implementing my own experiment at Umass this year connecting smoking and decrease in immunity</p>

<p>Edit* I’m getting a rec letter from both the Duke alumnus lab head and the lab head at Tufts- should be great. My teacher recs are from my math teacher, bio teacher, Latin teacher, GC-> all really good</p>

<p>Everything seems wonderful on your app; your GPA is a little low but I doubt it would hold your back too much. You are applying under ED, I would say you will get in. </p>

<p>Your test scores and rec letters should bode well for you. I would say Duke ED is a high match or low reach for you. Good luck!</p>

<p>Stuff looks good on your app, and like Stanley said, your GPA being a tad lower probably is edged out by ED.</p>

<p>Your grades and sat are prefect for duke, however your ECs aren’t insane. I would say you have a fairly good shot though. Maybe a high match. Good luck dude!</p>

<p>I’d say a low to mid match, the high SAT score will help</p>

<p>I would say high match. Also, congrats on those incredible letters of recommendation! They should be able to pull some(not too much, but some) weight.</p>

<p>High match. You have a very strong application. I personally think you will get in, but it is Duke. I suspect you will be very happy come December 15th.</p>

<p>For Duke ED you seem to be a High match to a Low reach. I’d say you have great shot at getting in compared to other applicants. Good luck!</p>
