@muffinz i do hope u get into the school of your dreams(amherst??)you hadnt mentioned the BU thing,so now I think I fully understand.Oh and last time I forgot to mention Brandeis + tufts, theyre also in MA,I think…best of luck though… @confidential15 I dont know why you would advise me to research on A levels when that is the very curriculum I took(3 science+2arts and according to me there is nothing like an easy A level. some of your comments are not so nice…

19, @Muffinz, his age is three times yours! :D

Biggest mistake people make-they just speculate.
You are welcome!

Do not create hypothesis, please! Let’s talk about facts.

@confidential15,your personal attacks are just uncalled for.The point of this forum is to help each other, not to post rude comments.I find that very unneccesary and just a tad immature.

@confidential15,your personal attacks are just uncalled for.The point of this forum is to help each other, not to post rude comments.I find that very unneccesary and just a tad immature. And to what hypothesis are you refering?Obviously we understand that word differently.

I am sure that you understand the difference between suitable and rigorous. If you don’t remember, I told you at the very begging that your subjects are not rigorous(except for Maths), I was not talking about any suitable grade.

suitable as a third subject LOL…

^^Well, you can clearly see who is attacking personally.

@confidential15-whatever.good luck with that ever-so charming superiority complex of yours, and your OH-SO-RIGOROUS Alevel selection.

If pointing out your mistakes means Superiority Complex, then yes, I have it.
And thank you for the good luck!
Oh yes, for the OH-SO-RIGOROUS part, I know, some people cannot digest that others have done better in life…I feel sorry for people like them…

Confidential2015 you’re wrong. There is nothing wrong with Muffinz’s A Levels. I’m not going to get into a ping-pong argument with you, I just wanted make clear to anybody reading this that the ignorant assertions you’ve made regarding A Level subjects are utterly baseless. Good luck Muffinz, I hope you’re accepted into your chosen college!

I am not saying that there is something wrong with the OP’s A Levels. I am just saying that they are not rigorous. In the UK you might get good colleges with those subjects but not in the US.

that is not true. The A level combination is not an issue. If anything her subjects show that she understands and is well prepared for,a liberal arts education. If you are of the impression that only science students get intothe top schools check again, humanities students are right up there with the rest of them.

While English Language is considered an ‘easier’ A Level the English Literature that the op took is not, has not and never will be considered an ‘easier’ A level. Politics is probably towards the middle ground as far as A Levels go and maths towards the top.

@bigboba-THANK YOU!!!how someone can say A level englishlit+math and even politics arent rigorous is beyond comprehension.Wow,your combination is awesome and different!!What are you planning on studying?

Not sure really. I think I’ll major in either economics or history. but not really sure - thus liberal arts over a uk degree.
