Chance a brotha!

I’m a white Junior male from NY in the 150k-200k income bracket.

GPA: 91 UW/96 W (Downward trend because of AP classes)

11th grade- AP English, AP Chemistry, AP US History
12th grade- AP Government, AP Calculus, AP Literature, AP Physics

Sports: Varsity Volleyball 10th 11th 12th (captain 12th)

please chance?

I think you might have a good chance-- keep working hard, write a good essay, and maybe do some more service. Good luck!

You definitely have a chance.

Try to bring your SAT’s up a bit, and expand your EC’s a bit. Maybe take part in something over the summer that interests you.

Good luck.

Thank you. You don’t think my GPA makes BC a reach for me?

can’t really say if your GPA makes it a reach because we don’t know that stats of your school. in my school a 90-91 underweighted had a decent shot at BC, but yours might be different.

also depends if you were in honors classes (if ur school offered them).

By the time I graduate I will have taken 8 AP classes. All other classes besides electives are honors.

Bump with new SAT: 720 CR, 780 Math, 740 Writing

With that new SAT, you’re in great position. It’s hardest for white kids to get into BC, so that score will help a ton. A downtrend in grades, even if it’s AP, is definitely a bad thing though. Make sure you have a really solid first semester and I think you’ve got a pretty good shot.
