I will chance back btw

I have a friend who got into Brown’s pre-med program, and his scores were not as good as yours. You have very good extracurricular activities, what do you want to major in?

I’m majoring in Econ. My school sends around 20 kids to ivies each year. My school doesn’t rank, but if it did I’d be in the top 10%.

rd2012, congratulations on all the achievements and grades, you have excellent SAT scores(1 and 2). I am sure you will get into quite a few of these colleges. One thing left to say is that just write good essays and with a pinch of luck your gonna seal those acceptance letters…
any of these colleges will be lucky to have you my friend…we have quite a few college choices in common!

I wish you all the best and success through these applications…

being a lil critical about these as i have learned about their selectivity and acceptances…
Brown LOW REACH
Cornell LOW REACH
Columbia REACH
Dartmouth REACH
Harvard HIGH REACH (GET THAT PINCH OF LUCK AND YOU WILL GET IN 100%)
Princeton SAME AS HARVARD
Yale SAME AS HARVARD
Stanford REACH
Carnegie Mellon LOW REACH
Duke LOW REACH
Unc MATCH (IN STATE OR OOS?)

ALL THE BEST (:

hahaha…i think we chanced each other at the same time…

best of luck

(:

You too. I’m sure you will get into at least 1 ivy :)

Ahah, of what race are you?

Indian lol

Poor you, ahah… Shame you aren’t a URM, you’d be in at all of the schools. Such is life…

Hmm… Probably in at UNC, CMU, and Cornell. All the other schools are reaches, though I can see you bagging quite a few acceptance letters, especially from Brown and Duke; this is mainly because you’re applying to SO many top schools.

Anyway… You should probably pull some of the super prestigous schools out, as it seems like you’re just applying to all of them, regardless of fit, and most of them (sorry to say) will reject you anyway, based on the fact that for your race, your application is pretty average. You should probably throw in a few (top 20) “matches” in there as well, such as JHU, Emory, Northwestern, and WUSTL.

I’m brown too haha. You probably will get Carnegie Mellon, Duke, and UNC. You got the ECs/SATs/GPA for the other schools but idk how you wrote the essays. It shows your charisma so if you did well on those plus interview if u did it, expect to be accepted to a couple of the other schools u mentioned. Ivys and Stanford are pretty hard to predict. Chance back?

I think you have a decent chance at everything. When you get going to these Ivy league schools it starts to just get into luck since everyone applying seems to be the same. With good essays that should help. Best of luck youll get into at least 1 ivy and thanks for chancing me.

I think you have good chance at schools except that I don’t know I heard its bad ot take the SAT four times, but I don’t think that will detract! good luck!

chanced all of you back

Wow, you have great stats! Just write some good essays and you should be IN!
Good luck!!

You’re probably match for Brown, Cornell, Columbia, Dartmouth, and Duke. You’ll almost definitely get into UNC and Carnegie. for Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and Stanford you’ve got as good a chance as anyone, but there’s always quite an element of chance. I’d be surprised if you didn’t get into at least one of the four though.

please chance me back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1297808-last-chances-will-chance-back.html#post13958030

you did harvard’s summer program? one of my best friends did it and i spent like 4 nights with here there!
i think it’s really impressive that you had the willpower to take the sat again as a senior… i think colleges will recognize that as well. your numbers are right where they should be for any top schools (with your scores exceeding all expectations). the only thing i’d be worried about are your EC’s which are still good. HYPS etc are really difficult but since you did harvard’s summer program if you did well that will help a lot. i’m sure you’ll get into at least half the schools on your list. best of luck!
