Recommendations:
Teacher: One is literally amazing--very very specific and very very positive, other I didn't see but she really likes me so I'd say it's at least extremely positive--hopefully it's as amazing as the other.
Guidance Counselor: Fairly terrible... marked "below average" for character. (This woman is unbelievable...)

Colleges:
Stanford [EA]
UWashington StL
UPenn
Duke
Georgetown University
Vanderbilt
Please chance me for these!!

THANKS SO MUCH

Woah, the fact that you had to take all of the AP's online will help alot! And ofcource your test scores will be an advantage... Maybe think of only sending in your ACT scores, because they're alott higher than your SATs... You definitely have a much higher chance than most applicants...

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/601083-chances-getting-into-brown-please.html

Yes, your ACT is awsome and they will definitely consider that over your SAT I (I presume that you will send SATs as the subject tests are good). With a school like Stanford you may never know but you do have a very goos chance to get in (and if you don't it is not your fault). UPenn and Duke may also surprise...(again, you never know..) but you should be in at others :) One way or another you will go to a great college :D

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/600897-chances-lacs-will-i-get.html

amazing ACT ;p, and i guess being from Iowa helps a lot, and u took those online! wow

Well... it's Stanford. No one can be sure about acceptance. ;) But I still think that you have a higher-than-most chance! In other words, I think you're pretty competitive. Your ACT score is great and your valedictorian! As for the guidance counselor's rec, I don't think you should worry. You're obviously a superb student!

On a more personal note, I'm jealous of your US History SATII score... Haha.

Btw, are you being recruited?

Chance me!

Recruited as in, sports? Oh helllll no :P Lol, I'm varsity at a mediocre, 1A school in Iowa (we're actually the smallest school in Iowa with soccer). I have no prospects for college... I used to be good for my age, but that kinda frittered away during high school :)

I chance'd everyone back :)

SAT's could be higher, but ill say fairly competitive for everywhere

Chance me too, Neal! :) http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/601083-chances-getting-into-brown-please.html

I already did ;)

You ACT score is fantastic. Your chances are very strong, but Stanford is of course unpredictable. Strong chances at your other schools as well.

Shameless bump! =)

^^^^^^^^^^^

Don't let me down CC :(

Dude it looks like you basically ran your high school lol.

I'm sure you have a decent chance at stanford and penn and a great chance at the others.

You have a decent shot at Stanford, Upenn, and WashingtonStLouis.....
Probably have a very good shot at Georgetown and Vanderbilt...............
^^^^Nice Acts Scores, I wouldn't let any of these schools see your Sat scores.........
You are probably from an underpresented geographic area so that works in your favor...........

****I don't know too much, because I am in the same boat as you, I am applying to Vanderbilt, Upenn, and am not too sure about wheather or not I will apply to Georgetown(Only if I have time).........Good Luck..........

Chance Me...............
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/602313-chance-nervous-texan-columbia.html

Stanford [EA]-reach
UWashington StL-match/high match
UPenn-reach
Duke-high match/low reach
Georgetown University-match/high match
Vanderbilt-match/high match

I agree with ftx2009 that you should only send the ACT scores, and that your geographic location will help. I will venture a guess and say that admissions will look very favorably on how you were motivated enough to take online AP courses, and not using the convenient cop-out of how the school doesn't offer them. Your a very solid applicant, and I believe that you have a strong good chance of being admitted to Stanford and your other reaches. Good luck!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/585610-chances-so-so-sat-scores-top-schools.html

I sent in both scores -- they all go with my highest which would be ACT, plus I want to show them my fairly good SAT IIs

^^^^^^^^^^

LOL I remember you made a thread about your guidance counselor and how she literally hates you! Dude that sucks, but I'm not exactly sure how seriously colleges take the counselor recs anyway. That'd be ridiculous if she prevents you from getting into your 1st choice college. What a *****! That'd tick me off.

Stanford - reach
WashU - low reach
Upenn - low reach
Duke, G'Town, Vandy - high match

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/602605-chance-small-town-rural-kid-washu-ed-notre-dame.html

I don't know where to start with "chancing" but since you chanced me, I'll give it a shot.

34 ACT is a great score, and the extra effort you put into your AP's should definitely help you out. I would say you are as good a candidate as any for schools like Stanford and Penn... probably a good chance at Gtown and similar schools, too. Good luck!
