Chance a californiannnn!

Fellow Californian here! I’ll try to chance you?

The UCS should be pretty solid. Although both pretty competitive, you probably have a shot at UCLA and Berkeley. I think they would be “lower reaches.”

UCLA I don’t really know much about but should be OK. UC Berkeley, I don’t know what they really look for, but I heard they give out supplement forms to those who a) have disability b) talent or c) iffy grades that may have special circumstances. Sorry…

UCSD, though, should be a match. First, it’s a D2, so you could be pretty competitive for their athletics (and maybe more $$?). Also, your GPA is good and not sure how much else they look at.

The safeties are pretty safe. I would be shocked if you didn’t get in.

USC, since it has a reputation as a sports school, may be interested in you. Again, I’m not really sure with this school, but I have a feeling your sports will help you.

The Claremonts are a reach for everyone, even Pitzer and Scripps these days, but especially Claremont McKenna and Pomona. I don’t know anything about Occidental.

So in summary, this is what I think:
Claremont McKenna and Pomona: Higher reaches
Scripps and Pitzer: Reaches
UC Berkeley and UCLA: High Match
USC and Occidental: Match
UCSD: Low Match
Safeties: Very Safe
