Thank you guys in advance =)

I’d guess that you have a pretty good chance. My son got in with similar credentials in 2006.
However, it’s getting more and more competitive each year. I’d say that you keep up the good work and also apply for some other good schools. I’m sure you will be landing on a promising college.

^ Thanks kvn54321!

Bump. Opinions are greatly appreciated =)

I’d say your chances are so-so, depending on the significance of your awards, which I cannot judge.

are you planning on going to school for table tennis or is it just a hobby?

^ I hope to pursue table tennis on a inter-collegiate level, but I cannot be recruited as it’s not a NCAA sport. Instead, it has its own organization named the NCTTA.

Last bump. Guys please =)

mathematicism, you are one of the most promising Canadians on CC to apply this year.
I have the utmost confidence that you will represent us well =]

@StarsAligned

WOW dude that must have been one of the nicest things I’ve heard. Thank you so much. =)

^^agrees with star. Good luck!

So I noticed this other thread whose OP got rejected at Penn ED and realized that I’m in the exact same boat… Sorry guys… this ‘one of the most promising Canadians on CC to apply this year’ didn’t turn out to be promising at all.

Can anyone please re-chance me with this new update?

Mathematicism, I know what you mean! Turns out every EDer from my school were outright rejected (not even deferred). I felt even more uncertain about my own chances…none the less, a thread on CC can only cover the basics of an application, and there are many intangible parts that can tip the factors to your favour. Your profile still looks very strong and I guess the best I can say is to just apply and see what happens!

@ Thank you so much Fatum!

omg it is beyond painful to hear this … :frowning:
but never give up hope mathematicism; there are many great schools for you in RD!

I still believe in you :)

You are competing in a segment that is very crowded and for which the slots are limited. If D had a competitive table tennis team, then you would have a chance. Being from Canada is irrelevant (unless you play hockey). Good luck

^ Thank you for your honesty. I guess I’ll research a bit on D’s table tennis team now. XD

Last bump.

^You’re bumping this way too often. You have exceptional stats that make you qualified for admission to Dartmouth and its peers; however, your decision is going to depend on how you present yourself and whether or not the admissions office thinks you can add something to their campus.

jesus. /thread.
