To Apply for F/A: Probably

Anything to share:
I did okay on AMC 12 last year, high enough to qualify for the next level and to be invited to Canada/USA Math Camp this summer (which I couldn't attend due to scheduling conflicts) and a private math contest at MIT which was held this past weekend (which I also couldn't attend due to scheduling conflicts...sigh my life)

Weaknesses:
I know my SAT score is on the low side..ick
I'm hoping to do well on my three subject tests (750+)
I don't have spectacular awards.
While I love all my ECs and I do them for my own personal enjoyment, they don't show much in terms of direction. They're a bit scattered and all over the place, which kinda represents my own super diverse interests.

Do I have a chance? I'm ready for the brutally honest.

i definitely think you have a chance! you will get in somewhere great. good luck!

would you mind chancing back please??? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1208240-chances-please.html

Your stats are good but so are those of most applicants. Check out the profile of this year’s entering class. [Student Profile - Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/firstyear/studentprofile/)

Also, while not listed in the profiled stats, nearly 49% of the entering class of 2015 were ranked 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their high school classes according to information provided in the Convocation address a couple of weeks ago.

If you apply, you may want to apply to SFS or MSB based on your background and stated major interest.

I think you have a good chance. I’m from Toronto too and had a similar SAT to you…even lower (2190) and I got in…
