Do i have a shot at engineering??? HELP!!!

Up your SAT score.

is that all?
am i competitive? do i stand a chance for engineering?

I’d say slight reach/match given your class rank. Mid 50% range of engineering was top 2-8% of class. Your ACT composite equivalent of your SAT is a 31, which puts you right on the low end of the mid 50% of the engineering freshman profile of 31-33. Pretty good extra-curriculars. I’d say give it a shot, and nail the essays. You might get deferred, but it’s about 50-50 whether you get directly into engineering, and at the very least you should be admitted to DGS, be able to take the same intro engineering classes as everyone else, and prove them wrong for not admitting you outright in the first place. Good luck.
