Sorry for the length, but I wanted to make sure I didn't forget anything. I'm planning on applying to the following schools: USF, UCF, UF, Georgia Tech, Rice, and UC Berkeley. I would really appreciate being chanced on those as well as any more you guys think I should consider. Thank you so much for reading and please chance me!

What is your intended major and class rank or decile? You onviously just want to submit your ACT scores at this point. UCB doesn’t make financial sense if you live in FL. Rice is probably out of range but apply anyway and see what happens.

They’re up there, but my rank is 15 out of 81 and I either want to major in Computer Science, Acting, or Viola Performance.

I’m still unsure about applying to UCB because it’s such a longshot and even if I get in I probably won’t be able to pay my way in. I’m just looking for a school that would fit me well, and UCB has one of the best undergrad CS programs in the country (or so I’ve heard).

Sorry for the huge bump, but I took the SAT again and scored much better this time around.
Reading - 760
Math - 680
Writing - 710
Overall - 2150

Does this change my chances at all for UCB or Rice? Thanks for taking the time to read and I would really appreciate some chances. Thanks!

It makes you a more competitive candidate, but nothing is certain.
