<p>Hi I'm a 16 year old junior girl and I am really interested in going to university of Miami. I live in Illinois and attend a catholic private high school. My gpa is a 3.2 and my act score right now is a 27 ( I plan on taking it again and scoring even higher) i haven't taken my sat but I will this coming weekend. I work as a hostess in a restaurant and I am a volunteer fourth grade teacher for Sunday school at my church. I have completed over a 200 hours of service and I am involved in a church youth group. I also am a student ambassador for my high school. I am also involved in youth initiative and operation snowball ( a group against drinking and drugs). I would really love to go to UM. I love everything about the school also my sister is currently a freshmen there if that makes any difference.</p>

<p>So the 27 on the ACT is very good and the ECs are good. However your GPA is low. You still have time to improve that though. Good Luck.</p>

<p>You have plenty of time to bring your GPA up, work on that as much as you can to improve your chances. If you ever lose motivation, just think of getting into UM.</p>
