<p>Okay so I really want to go to tulane university but I don't know if I'm qualified. I got a 27 on my ACT but I plan on taking it again in June. And I got a 1770 on the SAT. I have a 3.3 GPA and I know that's kinda low but I go to a parochial school so the class rigor and grading scale is a lot harder than most other schools. I am a student ambassador at my high school and on the board of governors. I also teach a religious eduction class every Sunday to fourth graders. I work as a hostess at a restaurant. I also am involved in youth initiative at my school and I am a leader for snowball which is a group of students who plan a retreat every year. I am also planning on having a killer essay if that helps at all. How likely am I to be accepted to Tulane. I really don't mind you being harsh either.</p>
<p>I would say that Tulane is a low reach for you. As you noted, your GPA is low, and below their average. Your ACT is also below their Middle 50. If you can get your ACT up to a 31, your chances are much better. You do have good E.C.'s, but that won’t completely make up for the low test scores and GPA. Like I said, a low reach, but not something you shouldn’t aim for. With a 31 on the ACT, I’d saw High Match.</p>

<p>lol just because you go to parochial school does not mean your class rigor is harder nor that your grading scale is harder. That’s rather elitist of you to impose and your ACT does not by any means prove that. I’d say Tulane is a no for right now get a 33 and you might be able to get in if you apply EA and you can pay.</p>
<p>Well thanks for being honest but you seriously could have been a little nicer to me. My school is competitive. And I don’t need you telling me I am an elitist because my parents can pay for me to get a good education. And don’t hate on my ACT score either. It was the first time I took it and never even took to tutoring for it either unlike most kids. Next time don’t act like you know everything about someone’s education it makes you sound like an elitist ;)</p>

<p>You could go to College data.com search “Tulane University” set up an account, and then use the ‘my chances’ (or something similar) which helps calculate your chances based on a safe, reach, extreme reach, etc… I will post the link tomorrow because it takes a while for me to find!
